how nonchalant can i be?
other than applying nonchalant attitude in helping people....
i think in many dilemna faced, this attitude can oso be use?
no point brooding over stuff that doesn't have immediate ans..
be nonchalant.... no point comparing...
but i wonder how nonchalant can i be?
doesn't belong to me so why should i b bother?

it is not a bad thing to be nonchalant at times...
nonchalant = bo chup
i'm learning to divert towards this attitude...
why should i poke my nose in those matters that is not my concern?
sometime being helpful may ends up giving the impression as nosy...
and thus receive unappreciative comment...

mum's b'day cum father's day celebration
Mum's b'day always falls near father'day..
so we usually celebrate them together.. save cost!! haa..
this year we went to Lingzhi Vegetarian restaurant located at Novena Square.
the hi-tea buffet is not bad.. but as u know.. vegetarian food is full of flour, beancurd
quite a starchy meal i must say..

after that, we went to Singapore flyer.. but we didn't take the ride..
coz dad is afraid of height!! we didn't know that!! haaa....
walk around the garden and have a light dinner there...
hope dad and mum have a nice day... although we have walk a long way from the mrt..

40% subsidy... when?
on 16 Feburary 2008, MOE released news about 40% subsidy to part-time students

it was super duper good news to me and my fellow coursemates..
coz it does help to ease off lotz of finanical burden..
but it has been 4months and we do not seem to hear anything from my university (you noe lor.. the one with 100yrs of history)

hong did email the department 2months ago... no reply from them...
things got pretty heat up when we know that SIM has implemented the subsidy last semester (May)!!
reason: coz SIM was the 1st uni that MOE approach...
yup... many of the students are feeling biased about this..
shouldn't this be implemented across 4 university at the same time??!!

a few email were sent to the department for clarification..
some is asking why our uni is been delayed...
some heard that the 1st yr student are getting it and ask why the earlier batch is not..
hong even call up MOE to check the application procedure... MOE reply that
1st: Students must be of min 21 yrs old.
2nd: Students must work at least for 2 years and must be working full time now.
3rd: Students that had accept grants or scholarship from the government previously will not be entittle to the subsidy.

yup... we fulfill the criteria.. but well... we hv to apply this via our uni.. (see... the issue is not on them... is the uni)
what pissed me off is the way that the administration person handled the issue.
becoz for ALL the email mentioned above, it was given the same reply...i mean same wordings
We are still waiting for more information from MOE. We will immediately circulate an email to inform all of you once we receive any news from MOE.

shouldn't she have some "creativity" in replying?? obviously it was CUT & PASTE!!
0% of sincerity!! *faint*
but as u can see... now from uni point of view, the issue is on MOE...

if you have watch the movie "Just Follow Law"..
bascially that's how those ppl work.....
we are in final yr... if this is going to drag.. i guess we will miss the boat!!!

He is born without limbs.. yup.. no arms no legs..
but he is not defeated by that.. he has become a motivational speaker!!

result out!!
on friday, the exam result was out!!
overall, i'm pretty satistifed.. coz my CAP is up a little... phew....
maintaining my 2nd upper.. 1st class no more liao lah.. no need to think about it

B+.... was expecting A-..but think somehow the report was not "lengthy"enough

mass transfer operation
A.. yippee!! was expecting this... effort paid off...

to celebrate the good result, the gals and me went for KTV that very day...
