time is running out!!! HELP!!!
let's see what are the "upcoming" events... - process control test in another 8hrs later..... left 1 more chapter to study.. gonna skip lunch liao :( - unit operation test tomorrow... yet to touch on absorption!! :( - fluid test on next wk... dunno is tue or wed.. :( - 4 UNTOUCHED lab reports!! which 2 of them dunno how to start... no calculation leh... jia lat liao... :( - of coz the "GRAND FINALE"... exams.. *faint*
i'm really glad darling has been very understanding this semester.. perhaps from the frequent arguements in the last 2yrs... we manage to reach a compromising stage.. (*phew*)

Tuesday, October 23, 2007 2nd attempt of tiramisu.. been wanting to do tiramisu.....had tried it once.. but failed... due to the special request from ruohui.. we did our 2nd attempt.. finally we did it..
for how well we have fare.. perhaps you can see from the comparison ............ from video jug___________________ our attempt (without cocoa powder)

Monday, October 22, 2007 what a weekend disaster having 2 lab reports due in the weekend was already a disaster.. what was worse were the consective incidents that happened...
1st, laptop wasn't available coz ling took it... cant force her to return it as she need to finish up as much work as possible before little daven come to this world... yesh!! i'm going to be a aunt of another baby!! (*counting the days*)
2nd, something very wrong with the unit conversiongiven in the lab manual.. juz cant get the units right... spend the whole sat night figuring it out...
3rd, juz can't get any logical analysis from McCabe-Thiele graph... after spending 2days... realise that i interept the data wrongly... haiz.. forgot to convert the volume% to mole%... thanks to lawrence & zhen guo who helped me to spot the mistake... well.. also have thank darling,kelvin and ruohui lending me their laptop during this time...
most impt, a BIG THANK to my groupmates for being understanding.. coz they are waiting for my calculation to compile the result... poor meihong hv to wait for me on sunday nite... ps: lucky merlin and agnes did not strangle me.. haha..
Friday, October 19, 2007 is that how taxi driver choose their customer??? was urgently waiting for taxi to go to darling' house to borrow his PC.. (thanx darling!) need to submit assignment by tomorrow noon... (if not, agnes & merlin will strangle me! hahaa).. however... my laptop wasn't available... haiz...
anyway there was a family of 3 waitingin front too.. the mum was on the wheelchair and looked fragile... aft abt 15 min of waiting, there are several taxi with green light on.. yet NOT stopping when the family flagged... well... the taxi also did not stop for me either...
in the end, i decided to cross the street to try my luck yesh! there was a taxi slowing down!! but at this point of time, the family was crossing the street to try their luck too.. so i told them they can get on the taxi first if they are urgent.. lucky.. they were not... juz wanna take taxi to go home... well... the taxi driver looked almost hesitant when he thought the family was going to board it.. but looked rather relieved when i was the one.... am i thinking too much??? hmmm....
pondering.. if taxi driver is not going to pick up passengers, why bother to turn on the green light?? or are they waiting for midnight??? but.. it was only 11pm leh... what struck my mind was is it because they feel it is a hassle to pick up passenger who are on the wheelchair??? i reckon the reason is hassle.. is that how Singapore taxi driver choose their customer??? if it's so... it is a shame.... what's ur view???
Wednesday, October 17, 2007 no time for regrets!! had a heavy conversation wif dad juz now... so heavy that it make me recalled those series of things that happened 4yrs ago... am i beginning to regret not taking ronny's advise even though he has been urging (encouraging) me?? ya.. sort of.. but given the situation that time... i can't be selfish although i know i stand a good chance...
but well.. there is NO time for regrets!! the destination is still there... it juz take a little longer.. that's all... it is juz another 1.5 yrs more to go... right now, i am encourage ting juz like how ronny urged me that time..

haa... even thou at the end of the the videos, it is shown that the videos are selling insurance, but they are done really nice.. nahz.. i'm not an insurance agent.. not going to preach here..
pondering... life is really unpredictable.. treasure what you have now... and bear in mind, time won't wait.. seem like i sound old ar.. well... been a fan of Lurlene McDaniel's book, so have a new perspective to life...

Tuesday, October 2, 2007 OMG... the world is sOOoo small surprise to bump into someone at workplace today.. a safety consultant who i got know from my previous company.. CK.. he is very approachable and knowledgeable... my ex-colleagues and me had a great time during his training..
we exchanged our namecards.. as he was having lunch with one guy.. out of courtesy, i oso passed him my namecard. And we started chit-chat..
guy: oh.. so you are a lab officer... which lab? me: ESE guy:i see... well.. you should know me.. me: eh... do i? (*blank face*) guy:I'm the new safety manager.. me (heart started beating fast): oh... Francis.. I just send an email to you this morning. guy(looking at namecard):oh.. ya.. i remember... me: *smile*
shags... shld have address him by Mr. Cheng instead.. opps.. well... I'm only a small fry.. don't think i will arouse any attention to those ppl in the manager level... yet happen to bump to CK which link to the Safety Manager the world is so small... or is it that singapore is so small?? mmm...
