dad's birthday
hooOO... had a great nite celebrating dad's birthday..
went for a seafood dinner n after tat KTV...
1st time e whole family out for KTV...
kinna weird.. coz usually KTV wif frens... singing songs tat we r familiar...
but wif mum n dad... -_-"
well... still not so bad.. at least some of e teochew songs we noe...
n we sing along!! haha...
oso sing a few of deng li jun songs...
can say i really happy seeing my dad n mum singing together!!
coz they r those old couple who keep distance apart... not a bit lovey dopey kind...
e whole gang of sisters n bfs are having fun...
seeing e whole family united really brighten up my day..

love and marriage..
One day, Plato asked his teacher, "What is love? How can I find it?"
His teacher answered, "There is a vast wheat field in front. Walk forward without turning back, and pick only one stalk.
If you find the most magnificent stalk, then you have found love."
Plato walked forward, and before long, he returned with empty hands, having picked nothing.
His teacher asked, "Why did you not pick any stalk?"
Plato answered, "Because I could only pick once, and yet I could not turn back.
I did find the most magnificent stalk, but did not know if there were any better ones ahead, so I did not pick it.
As I walked further, the stalks that I saw were not as good as the earlier one, so I did not pick any in the end.
His teacher then said, "And that is love."

On another day, Plato asked his teacher, "What is marriage? How can I Find it?"
His teacher answered, "There is a thriving forest in front. Walk forward without turning back, and chop down only one tree.
If you find the tallest tree, then you have found marriage".
Plato walked forward, and before long, he returned with a tree.
The tree was not thriving, and it was not tall either.
It was only an ordinary tree.
His teacher asked, "Why did you chop down such an ordinary tree?"
Plato answered, "Because of my previous experience. I had walked through the field, but returned with empty hands.
This time, I saw this tree, and I felt that it was not bad, so I chopped it down and brought it back.
I did not want to miss the opportunity."
His teacher then said, "And that is marriage. You see son,
Love is the most beautiful thing to happen to a person,
its an opportunity but you don't realize its worth when you have it but only when its gone like the field of stalks.
Marriage is like the tree you chopped, it's a compromise.

back from 'vacation'
finally e 1wk of 'vacation' is over...
lotz of adventures are encountered during tis period...
most upset is e heat n mass...
haiz... shld realise that time is v precious...
shldn't stay so long in e 1st qns...
which ends up leaving ONLY 45 min for e other 3 qns...
n so kan jiong tat brain freeze.. e qns is pretty straightforward...
plus it is open bk wif e solution juz right in front of me!!
but well... wat got into me? juz din realise tat...
in poly was aiming for A for heat and mass...
but ends up got a B.. i tink tis time i got defeated by heat n mass again...
to tink i got ave 17/20 for my 2 tests... arghhh...

luckily, e other 2 modules i feel much betta...
reactor system n numerical method...
since poly already got a gd foundation for reactor system..
plus i really have interest in tis module
tis time round i am aiming high thou only juz pass during e test... hee..
hoping e lab reports will pull me up!!
but well.. i juz keep my finger crossed to get a A for tis...

numerical method.. well.. i really really aiming high..
3 project done together wif agnes.. (GREAT PARTNER!!)
2 of got A... as for e last one, still not too sure..
but pretty confident that it shld not got a bad grade...
test oso got a A grade... as for ytd exam... all 5 qns i noe how to do..
only a few programming for MATLAB dunno.. but tat shld not discount too much..
plus microsoft excel is my forte.. i shld get high marks for my excel qns..
so i dun see y i shld not get a A for tis module...

to see wat grade i will get.. stay tune on 26may...
results will b out.. so still keepin my finger crossed.. (",)


well.. after e last adventure, we gals went out for dinner at waraku...
follow by chill up at e singapore sling...
e bond between us are getting closer n closer..
i'm really glad i hv meet tis bunch of gals (or 38!! haha)
hee... looking forword for e spa treat we gals are planning!!

1st time writing blog...
feel kinna weird...
coz i've keep a diary myself since sec 3... (1st time)
